The national folklore festival “Dar ot prirodata” (A gift from the nature) is one of the events in the region of Samokov to be included in the calendar of the European year of the cultural legacy. The location of the festival is Govedartsi village, near Borovets and the dates for this year are 24^th and 25^th of August.

On this seventh edition of the festival many artisans, musicians and dancers will take part in the celebrations.
