Get to know the program for the opening of the winter season 2024/2025 in Borovets!

Borovets - The King of Winter, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Rila Mountains starts the 2024/2025 season on 21 December at 17:00.

The first resort in the country and on the Balkan Peninsula will open the season with a spectacular light and sound show, which will be projected on the "Rila" slope.

The official start of the festive season in the resort will be given by the Minister of Tourism, Evtim Miloshev and the Mayor of the Municipality of Samokov, Eng. Angel Djorgov, who will light the Christmas tree.

DJ Anthony G' and the fiery violinist Venda Live Violin will take care of the good mood of all guests.
Among the official guests of the event will be representatives of winter sports and the most successful Bulgarian skier - Peter Popangelov.

The magnificence of the winter landscapes and the sparkling whiteness of snowy Borovets will be highlighted with glowing lanterns and descents of skiers and snowboarders from the Samokov school on the slope ,,Rila".
