On Saturday, June 15, Borovets will mark the beginning of the new summer season.

Throughout the day, and throughout the summer, we have prepared a variety of outdoor activities for young and old.

The Borovets Mountain Bike Park will welcome both thrill seekers and lovers of family mountain biking. Preparations for the bike park started last autumn, right after the closing of the Summer 2023 season.

The teams maintaining the park's trails took care of reworking compromised sections and building new elements. This way the trails can settle down over the winter and are firm enough for the next bike season. In the spring the work continued with final preparations before welcoming the summer.

All 10 trails with different levels of difficulty - blue, red, black, which are served by the Sitnyakovo Express lift, have been renovated and refurbished. Longer turns, renewed rollers, more attractive jumps are just some of the surprises that await bikers this summer.

The most impatient riders who will ride down the trails on June 15 will discover hidden attractive prizes in the Bike Park treasure hunt.

The family trails at the bike park are suitable for lighter rides for the whole family.

All bikers who have not brought their personal bikes or want to test new models can rent at the Adventure center Borosport, Hotel Rila. We have both DH and enduro bikes.

Electric and children's bikes are also available for those who prefer a lighter ride, as well as for families with children.

The trails for bike tours in Borovets Mountain Bike Park have been re-marked and can be used both independently and with our bike guides.

All trails in the park - downhill, family, and mixed trails suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists - can be viewed in advance on the resort's interactive map, available on our official website and My Borovets mobile app.

We are also ready for outdoor games in the children's club and rope town "Borolandia".

The rope town is an excellent opportunity for fun for the whole family.

While the little ones have fun in the outdoor kids club and small rope town, older children and their parents challenge themselves on the high rounds of the rope town or practice their archery and air rifle accuracy. Shared time with the family has never been more fun.

Throughout their stay at Borolandia, guests are accompanied and guided by our instructors.

All necessary background checks have already been passed and Borolandia awaits its young and old adventurers.

Starting this year, we also offer a day pass for the high ropes courses. It is valid for persons over 12 years and gives unlimited daily access to the high and extreme circles.

Rila Mountain offers excellent hiking opportunities - there are marked and signposted hiking tours for everyone - beginners and more experienced hikers alike.

Hikers can choose a suitable route for their level and time and hike on their own, following the detailed markings, or contact us to provide a licensed mountain guide.

In addition to climbing the highest peak on the Balkans, our guests can now immerse themselves in the resort's 125+ year history from its inception as Chamkoria, to Borovets today. Our new historical tour is a walk into the past, accompanied by interesting facts, stories and legends.

All hiking paths can also be viewed in advance on the interactive map of the resort, available on our official website and the My Borovets mobile app.

Of course, traditionally, Borovets also offers many other outdoor activities - rock climbing and mountaineering, tandem flights with a paraglider, horse riding, ATV, tennis.

For our corporate guests, we offer special team building programs that are the perfect opportunity to get out of the office and strengthen the team with new and exciting challenges in the mountains.
