Celebration of the new ski season – 22^nd December

Ski passes for adults will be with 50% discount, kids ski passes will cost 1 BGN 

Last Saturday Borovets opened ski-center “Yastrebets” for the most impatient ski winter sports fans. This Saturday December 22^nd Borovets will open the rest of the ski-zone. For this reason, Borovets resort is organizing the Celebration of the new ski season.

The program of the event is:

08:30 - The Bulgarian ski legend Peter Popangelov and the kids from the  ski-clubs in Borovets will be the first ones to be on the new lift "Martinovi Baraki Express"

09:00 - DJ Party

10:00 - 11:00 Free ski and snowboard school. Sign up at +359 882 19 68 48 or email
11:00 - 12:00 ski_school@borovets-bg.com. Personal equipment is required.

11:30 - 12:00 - Press conference - with representatives of "Borosport" the „Association of the hotels in Borovets and the mayor of Samokov Municipality – Mr. Vladimir Georgiev in Hotel RIla

12:00 - 12:15 - Ski descend with the future champions from the ski-clubs in Borovets

12:15 - 12:30 - Inauguration of  the new lift "Martinovi Baraki Express" with the vice prime minister of Republic of Bulgaria – Ms. Mariyana Nikolova and the mayor of Samokov Municipality – Mr. Vladimir Georgiev.

14:00 - 15:00 - Santa Claus in Borovets

14:00 - 18:00 - Après-ski party in The Terrace Lounge, 

17:45 - Torch show and fireworks

23:00 - After-party in night bar "After Eleven", in Hotel Rila

For the celebration the lift passes for adults will be with 50% discount and the kids passes will cost 1 BGN. The income from the kids passes will be donated to the foundation "Peter Popangelov and friends of Borovets" to stimulate the development of the winter sports in the region.
