This year the cross-country competition for the "Samokov" cup will happen on 31st of  January. The race is part of the contest "Young Hopes". Organizers are Samokov Municipality, "Borosport", ski club "Rilski skior" and the Bulgarian ski federation.  

The participants will take part in the following categories: 

• Boys and girls born 2007 - 2010
• Boys and girls born 2005 - 2006
• Teenagers 15-16 years old
• Teenagers 17-18 years old
• Boys and girls under 8 years old

The competition will be on ski-run Bistritza in Borovets resort and will start at 10:00 AM on 31st January.

The program:

10:00 - Technical start

10:30 - Teenage girls - 4 km. / Teenage girls - 6 km. / Teenage boys - 6 km.

11:15 - Girls born (2005 - 206) -3 km. / Boys born (2005 - 206) -4 km.

12:00 -  Girls born (2007 - 2010) -2 km. / Boys born (2007 - 2010) -2 km.

12:30 - Boys and girls under 8 years old - 1 km.

13:30 - Reward ceremony
