The annual giant slalom for the “Petar Popangelov - Senior” cup will take place on Monday 11^th March.

 The race organized by Borosport JSC honors one of the best Bulgarian skiers – Petar Popangelov – Senior. The initiative promotes the Bulgarian traditions in the giant slalom and stimulates the young athletes to improve their skills.

On 11.03.2023 in Borovets will be held the competition for the Cup "Peter Popangelov - Senior", organized by Borosport AD, together with SK Borovets and the Municipality of Samokov.

The giant slalom for the Cup "Peter Popangelov - Senior" will be held on the slope "Martinovi baraki 4" in Borovets. The competition is held in accordance with the Competition Regulations of the ISF and the regulations of the BFSC for the 2022/2023 season.

 As every year, the young hopes of Bulgaria will take part in three categories:

Giant Slalom - Girls and Boys U8
Giant Slalom - Girls and Boys U10 (U10)
Giant slalom - Girls and Boys U12 (U12)
The giant slalom in the U10 and U12 categories will start at 09:30 and in the U8 category at 11:00. The award ceremony will take place at the bottom of the "Martinovi baraki 4" slope after the participants have finished.

The race is one of the many initiatives that Borovets resort and Borosport AD are supporting in order to encourage young people in Bulgaria to learn the sport.
