The day of Rila mountain is one of the most known mountain celebrations in Bulgaria. Every year thousands of mountaineers gather near Musala hut to climb the highest peak on the Balkan peninsula –Musala. This year the day of Rila mountain will be on 3^rd and 4^th of August.

The day of Rila mountain is organized by the association “Rilski tourist” with the support of Borosport and Samokov municipality.

The price for the two-way ticket for gondola "Yastrebetz" will be discounted for the weekend. On 3rd & 4th August the two-way ticket for adults will cost 10 BGN, for children between 7 and 14 years - 4 BGN and the kids under 7 years old will be free of charge, as always.

For the weekend gondola lift "Yastrebetz" will be with longer hours of operation. The first uphill ride will be at 08:00 AM, the last downhill ride will be at 06:00 PM.
