On 18 January 2020, Saturday, Borovets Resort will take part in the international initiative World Snow Day for a ninth year in a row. The event is part of the initiative of the International Ski Federation - FIS for promoting the winter sports and love to the mountain to children.

In 2020 Borovets Resort will take part in World Snow Day with interesting events for both children and parents – ski & snowboard lessons, competitions, presentations and workshops for the favorite winter sports. The celebration of the World Snow Day 2020 is part of the "Borosport" policy to encourage the kids in the region to practice and love the winter sports. 

To celebrate the World Snow Day 2020, ski school "Borosport" will offer free ski and snowboard lessons for beginners in front of slope "Rila" in front of the Rila Hotel. The lessons will start at  10:00 AM and everybody who wants to join should sign-up in advance via phone +359 882 19 68 48 or email ski_school@borovets-bg.com .

On 18th of January the ski passes for kids up to 13 years old will cost only 1 BGN. 

For another year "Boropsort" will organize the traditional slalom for kids up to 13 years old. This year the winners will win special prizes from SPORT DEPOT and Borosport. All participants should sign up in advance at Adventure Center Borosport until 10:00 AM on January 18th. The Bulgarian ski legend Petar Popangelov will attend the award ceremony and will give his advice to the young skiers.

The kids between 4 and 7 years old the kids snow park Borokids will cost only 1 BGN on January 18th. The promotional tickets will be sold at Adventure Center Borosport. 

This year the World Snow Day in Borovets will have a special guest. RADIO FRESH will have a stage with music in front of the Rila hotel. The celebration of the "World Snow Day" are part of the "Borosport" policy to encourage the kids in the region to practice and love the winter sports. During the whole winter season "Borosport" provides free lift passes for the schools in Samokov Municipality for the holidays and once a month for a whole week.
