For another year the traditional Rila Run will challenge the best mountain runners.

The event will take place on 06.08.2023 and is organized by Marathon Association, Borosport AD and Samokov Municipality.

Competition categories : Men and Women, Youth and Girls under 20, Veterans 45+, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70.

7:45-8:30: Registration at the start area

9:00: Start

Start at the entrance of Iskar stadium (970m above sea level). Through the park, on the eco-trail along the Iskar, at 3km starts the climb along a forest road to the Sokolets camp - 8km, cross the asphalt road at the former pioneer camp and continue up in the south direction on a marked trail to the peak Sokolets, passes through the meadow under Peak Ivanov Kamok and along a path in squat and open terrain comes out on the saddle of Yastrebets, where the support point is, 4 km to Musala hut, 3 km to the summit.Finish: Musala Peak (21km, 2925m) D+2000
